Using Crest

Crest is a Discord bot and companion website provided for free, with an optional premium tier. By adding Crest to a server, using its commands, or logging into this site, you agree to these terms. If you're setting Crest up on behalf of a server, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.

Acceptable use

Don't use Crest to violate Discord's own Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, to abuse, harass, or spam other users, to attempt to exploit, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the bot or this website, or to automate interactions with Crest in a way that places excessive load on it. We can restrict or block access to Crest's commands for a user, role, channel, or server that violates this.

Server administrator responsibility

Server administrators are responsible for how Crest is configured in their server — moderation actions, automated messages, economy settings, and anything else Crest is given permission to do there. Crest executes the configuration it's given; we don't monitor or review individual server setups.

Premium

Some features are gated behind a premium tier. Premium status and its perks are tied to the account or server it's granted to and aren't transferable. See the Refund Policy for how purchases are handled.

Availability

Crest is provided on an as-available basis. We aim for reliable uptime but don't guarantee the bot, its commands, or this website will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the project develops.

Limitation of liability

Crest is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Crest or this website, including data loss, moderation actions taken by the bot as configured, or service interruptions.

Termination

You can stop using Crest at any time by removing it from your server or not using its commands. We can suspend or terminate access to Crest, in whole or for a specific server or user, for violating these terms.

Changes

These terms may be updated as Crest changes. Continuing to use Crest after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page.
